I love mint—its fragrance, its color, and its healing properties. So adding this fresh herb to one of my green smoothie recipes is a no brainer! I especially enjoy this as a post-workout smoothie, since the potassium from the banana helps repair muscle and the coconut water replenishes with natural electrolytes.
I’ve been experimenting with Blendfresh raw whole food formulas and love adding the fresh dried fruits and vegetables options to simple smoothies like this one to totally boost the nutrition. Blendfresh Fiber and Probiotic is also an easy way to add these to your diet. Of course these are optional ingredients, as this kale green smoothie is wonderful on its own!
