Spicy Black Bean Dip

March Madness is in full swing and you definitely need to enjoy amazing foods with all those games. No one wants to watch basketball games on an empty stomach. This spicy black bean dip is a great option, along with your favorite chips.

If you need a great source of both fiber and protein in your diet, look no further than the humble bean. Beans are increasingly shown to assist with weight loss, maintain healthy blood sugar levels, and reduce cholesterol. Plus, beans are so versatile they can be used in everything from desserts to soups to delicious dips.

This spicy black bean dip has as much kick as you care to give it. I recommend using as many organic ingredients as possible for the best taste and nutrition. I love wrapping this dip with greens in a tortilla for lunch or serving as a quick dip when I have hungry guests.

Notes:

  • I recommend using as many organic ingredients as possible for optimal taste and nutrition.
  • I recommend Eden Organic beans be used in these recipes. They are soaked, cooked in kombu and come in a BPA free can.
  • I recommend Muir Glen fire roasted organic tomatoes. They have great flavor and are in a BPA free can.
